Talent Search Exam Guideline 2026-2027
The West Bengal Shine Teacher of Education is proud to announce its Talent Search Exam! This exciting opportunity is open to students in grades 3 to 10 (all boards).

Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm.

Reporting Time
11:00 A.M

Eligibility
Students from class 3 to class 10 of any board can participate in this exam. This exam will be conducted through Bengali and English versions.

Online Registration Fees
For Class 3 to 4 Rs. 130, and 5 to 10 Rs. 150

Exam Mode
Offline and Online (1.5 hours offline, 1 hour online)

Marking Scheme:
Total marks – 80 (20 marks each for English, Math, and General Mental Ability; 20 marks for GK).

80 Questions X 1 Marks(for each correct answer) = 80 Marks

Every correct answer will add 1 Mark. Every Wrong answer will deduct 1 Marks
Award and Scholarship Announcement

30% Score Reward
Students scoring 30% will receive a medal and certificate.

50% Score Reward
Students scoring 50% will receive a medal, certificate, and a bag.

80% Score Reward
Students scoring 80% will receive a one-time cash reward of ₹1,000.

Online Exam Recognition
Candidates scoring 60% or above in the online exam will be invited for a 10-minute video interview. Those who qualify will receive a bag, medal, certificate (including an e-certificate), and a digital book (D.Book) as a reward.

90% Score Reward
Students scoring 90% will receive ₹1,000 per month for 12 months.

Topper Award
The overall topper will receive a laptop or tablet.

Class-wise Recognition
Each class will have top performers who will receive special recognition.
